Row 2: (RS) selvedge st, * 1 yo, skp, rep from * cont., selvedge st.
Row 3: selvedge st, * 1 yo, p2tog (1 st with it’s yo), rep from * cont., selvedge st.
Rows 2-3 establish the pattern. Rep these 2 rows cont.
Selvedge st: (slipped garter stitch selvage)
At the beg of each row sl the first st k-wise and at the end of each row k1.
Tension:
10 sts and 12 rows to 10cm meas over lace patt using 9mm needles or sized needed to achieve given tension.
Instructions:
Cast on 26 sts and work in lace patt working 1st row as a RS row as given. Work straight until snood meas 130cm ending with a WS row. Next row: cast off all sts k-wise.
Sew cast on row to cast off row to form a loop being careful not to twist the knitted piece. Weave in ends.
