Rib pattern: (multiple of 2 sts + 1 st)
Row 1 (WS): selvedge st, k 1, p 1 alternately, end with k 1, selvedge st.
Row 2 (RS): selvedge st, p1, k 1 alternately, end with p 1, selvedge st.
Rep rows 1-2 cont.
Stocking stitch:
Row 1 (RS): k all sts between selvedge sts.
Row 2 (WS): p all sts between selvedge sts.
Structure patt (multiple of 2 + 1 st):
Row 1 (RS): selvedge st, k all sts until end, selvedge st.

Tension:
26 sts x 23 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm meas over rib patt.
18 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm meas over structure patt.

Cast on 131 (141) sts + 2 selvedge sts (133 (143) sts total) and work in rib patt (1st row as WS row). Cont until work meas 14 cm (= 32 rows)
Next row (WS): selvedge st, p 2 (4), * p1, p 2 tog, rep from * 42 (44) times, p 3 (5) sts, selvedge st. = 91 (99) sts. Cont in structure patt.
Shape sides:
Row 15 (19): M 1 each side.
Row 31 (34) of structure patt: M 1 each side.
Keeping patt correct, inc 1 st at each end of next 16 rows 5 times, then on every foll 8th row twice, then every foll 4th row 3 times. Then on every foll alt row inc 2 sts both sides and then 3 sts once = 123 (131) sts. Cont until work meas 73 (76 1/2 ) cm (row 209 (219)), ending with RS facing for next row.
Shape shoulders
Cast off 4 sts beg of foll rows twice (4 times), then 5 sts 6 (8) times.
Cast off rem 31 (35) sts.
Left Front:
Cast on 64 (68) sts + 2 selvedge sts (66 (70) sts total) and work in rib patt (1st row as WS row). Cont until work meas 14 cm (= 32 rows)
Next row (WS): selvedge st, * p1, p 2 tog, rep from * 21 times, p 1 (5) sts, selvedge st. = 45 (49) sts. Cont in structure patt.
Shape side as for back on right edge until there are 61 (65) sts on needle. Cont until work meas 73 (76 1/2 ) cm (row 209 (219)), ending with RS facing for next row.
Shape shoulders and neck
Cast off 4 sts beg of foll RS twice (4 times), then 5 sts 6 (8) times and at the same time at beg of foll WS rows cast off 4 (6) sts, 3 sts, 2 sts twice, and 4 sts.
Right Front:
Work as for left front side, reversing shapings and beg rib with p 1.
Sleeves:
Cast on 58 (62) sts + 2 selvedge sts (60 (64) sts total) and work in rib patt (1st row as WS row). Cont until work meas 8 cm (= 18 rows)
Next row (WS): selvedge st, p 1 (3), * p1, p 2 tog, rep from * 19 times, p 0 (2) sts, selvedge st. = 41 (45) sts. Cont in structure patt.
Shape sides:
Row 7 of structure patt: M 1 each side.
Keeping patt correct, inc 1 st at each end of every foll 8th row 8 (9) times to 59 (65) sts. Cont in patt until work meas 26 (28) cm (= 78 (84) rows) from beg of structure patt. Cast off all sts in patt.
Work 2nd sleeve alike.
Making up:
Join both shoulder seams using back st, or mattress st as preferred. Sew in sleeves. Join the sleeve seams then join the side seams leaving the bottom 14 cm open for the side openings. Crochet the edge of the neck and front edges as well as the side openings with 1 row of dc. With RS facing, using circular needles as desired, pick up and k 65 (69) sts evenly along crocheted neck edge. Work 10 rows in stocking st then cast off all sts. Fold cast off edge to the inside and sew onto neck opening.
