Needles: crochet hook size 6,0 - 7,0mm or size needed to achieve given tension.
Pattern:
Row 1: 4 ch, 2 tr in the 7th ch, *1 ch, miss 2 ch, 2 tr into next ch, rep from * to end, ending with 1 ch, 1 tr in the last ch, turn.
Row 2: 4 ch,* 2 tr into next ch sp, 1 ch, rep from * to end, ending with 1 tr into last ch sp, turn.
Rep row 2 for patt.
Tension:
11 sts and 5 rows to 10 cm measured over patt using 6 mm crochet hook.
Instructions:
Using a 6 mm crochet hook make 33 ch (foundation row). Work in patt until piece meas 180 cm. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Do not steam press. Pin out Scarf to measurements given, cover with a clean, damp cloth and leave to dry naturally out of sunlight.
Fringe:
Using photograph as a guide, cut 50 cm lengths of yarn and knot groups of 2 lengths of yarn through each ch sp approx. 5 cm apart. Then knot 2 lengths of each fringe with 2 lengths of the next fringe to create a staggered look. Form small knots in the ends of the yarn to avoid fraying.
