Instructions:
The poncho is knitted in one piece. Cast on 119 (127) S plus 2 ES and knt. 2 cm (= 5 R) in the collar pattern. Start with a back row: Alternately knt. 1 ES (nodule edge stitch), 1 S ri, 1 S le, end with 1 S ri, 1 ES (chain edge stitch).
Then continue working as follows, starting with a RSR:
1 ES (chain edge stitch), continue the collar pattern over the first 5 S, knt. the remaining S plain right, 1 ES (nodule edge stitch).
In a total height of 126 (134) cm (= 339 (361) R), knt. another 4 R and then co. the S straight, while knt. the S as they occur.
Finishing:
Fold the part along the dotted line (see section sketch) and close the lower 34 (36) cm at the left working edge.
