Tipp: To achieve the same colour repeat on the front and back as well as the sleeves, begin each ball either from the outside or the inside of the ball and unwind the yarn to the same starting point. When beginning with a new ball of yarn unwind the yarn to the same part of the colour repeat as where the last ball stopped. You might need more yarn than suggested in the usage section.

Stitch Pattern:
Stockinette St:
RS rows: k all sts between selvedge sts.
WS rows: p all sts between selvedge sts.
Garter st:
K all sts in all rows between selvedge sts.
Ribbing 1: (amount of sts multiple of 2 plus 1 (RS and WS rows))
WS rows: selvedge sts, alt p1, k1 and end row with p1, selvedge sts
RS rows: selvedge st, alt k1, p1 and end row with k1, selvedge st
Ribbing 2: (amount of sts multiple of 2 (sleeves and neckline))
WS rows: selvedge st, alt k1, p1, selvedge st.
RS rows: work the sts as they appear between selvedge sts
Garter slipped selvedge:
At beg of row sl1 k-wise and at end of row k1.
Tension:
20 sts and 27 rows to 10 cm meas over stockinette st and ribbing (slightly stretched) using size 4,5 mm needles or size needed to achieve given tension.
Instructions: (changes for larger size given in brackets. If only one number is shown, this applies to both sizes)
Back:
Cast on 107 [115] sts (incl. 2 selvedge sts) and beg with a WS row work ribbing 1.
Row 1: selvedge st, k6 (garter st), 93 [101] sts ribbing 1, k6 (garter st), selvedge st.
Work 10 rows straight.
Next row (row 12): selvedge st, k6 (garter st), 93 [101] sts stockinette, k6 (garter st), selvedge st.
Row 33 (RS): selvage st, 105 [113] sts stockinette, selvedge st.
Cont. straight until Back meas. 58 [61] cm total ending with a WS row.
Next row: cast off all sts k-wise.
Front:
Work as given for Back until 52 [55] cm from cast on ending with a WS row.
Next row (RS): selvedge st, 42 [44] sts in Stockinette, cast off centre 21 [25] sts, place rem 43 [45] sts on holder and work over first 43 [45] sts.
For the neckline shaping in every foll alt. row cast off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st three times. Cast off rem. 35 [37] sts when Front meas 58 [61] cm (as for Back).
Work other neckline side over the 43 [45] sts from holder with shaping reversed.
Sleeves: (work 2 alike)
Cast on 50 [58] sts (incl. 2 selvedge sts) and beg with a WS row work ribbing 2 for 5cm (13 rows). Then cont. over stockinette. For the sleeve shaping in every 8th row inc. 1 st each side 12 times: (RS) selvedge st, M1tbl, k to last st, M1tbl, selvedge st. = 74 [82] sts. Cont. straight until sleeve meas. 44 [46] cm (row 119 [123]) ending with a WS row.
Next row: cast off all sts k-wise.
Making up:
Close one shoulder seam. For the neck binding with right sides facing pick up along neckline approx. 100 [106] sts and work 9 rows (3 cm) in ribbing 2.
Next row: cast off all sts in patt.
Close 2nd shoulder seam and the small edge of neck ribbing. Set in sleeves then close side and sleeve seams leaving the side slides open along the bottom 12 cm (as shown in diagram).
