Quality
85 % recycelte cotton, 15 % polyester
100 g / 150 m
Size(measured lying flat):
Width: approx. 36 cm, height: approx. 36 cm high (without handle)
Usage:
approx. 100 g each in col. 06 and col. 07 or col. 01 and col. 04 or col. 05 and col. 08
Needles:
1 crochet hook in size 3 - 3,5 mm or size needed to achieve given tension.
Stitch Pattern:
Double Crochet in Rnds:(upper edge of bag and handle)
The dcs are worked in spiral rnds in a continuous manner without ss. Mark the 1st st in each rnd with a piece of yarn in a contrasting colour or marker. Crochet one stitch more in every 2nd rnd and mark the new st as the new beg of rnd, this allows the rnds to run along the side in a straight line and later allows the crocheted handle placement to be in the centre.
Mesh-Net Pattern in Spiral Rnds:
Work 1 scallop as in pattern over every scallop in the prev rnd (= 3, 5 or 6 ch and 1 dc) continuing in spiral rnds over the beg of rnd. Mark the beg of the rnd with a contrasting piece of yarn or marker. This makes counting rnds easier.
Treble in Rnds:
Every rnd of tr beg with 3 tch to replace the 1st tr and ends with 1 ss in the 3rd tch at the beg of the rnd.
Colour Change:
When changing colours, draw the last loop of the last st through using the new col. Pay attention the the col change is always done on the side. To do so lay the bag flat, mark the side and work the last rnd up to the marked st in the last col used.
Colour Sequence: The different colour variations are shown after slash(es).
Bottom and rnds 1 - 16 in mesh-net pattern: col. 07 / col. 04 / col. 08
Rnds 17 - 30 in mesh-net pattern: col. 06 / col. 01 / col. 05
Upper bag edge and handle:
2 rnds in col. 06 / col. 01 / col. 05
2 rnds in col. 07 / col. 04 / col. 08
Then finish in col. 06 / col. 01 / col. 05
Tension:(measured laying flat)
5 chained scallops and 11 rnds to 10 cm meas over mesh-net patt using size 3 - 3,5 mm needles or size needed to achieve given tension.
Instructions:
The bag is started on the bottom.
Ch 20 plus 3 tch to replace 1st tr using col. 07 / col. 04 / col. 08 and work the bottom according to chart, beginning with the 3 tch and 5 tr into the 1st ch (= 4th ch from the needle), work 1 tr into each of the following 18 ch. Work 6 tr into last ch. Then work 1 tr into the 18 ch on the other side and end rnd with ss into the 3rd tch (= 48 sts). Cont. as in chart (= 108 sts after the end of rnd 4). Then cont. work in mesh-net patt in spiral rnds.
Rnd 1:
Work [ch3, sk 2 sts of prev rnd and 1 dc into next st] 35 times and end rnd with ch3 and 1 dc around the first scallop at beg of rnd.
Rnd 2:
Work [ch5, 1 dc around the next scallop of the prev rnd] 36 times.
Rnd 3:
Work [ch6, 1 dc around the next scallop of the prev rnd] 36 times.
Rep the 3rd rnd cont throughout, changing col. after the 16th rnd to col. 06 / col. 01 / col. 05 and then working 14 rnds in the new col. using mesh-net patt.
Lay the bag flat, so that the rounded ends of the bottom are on the right and left side. Cont in mesh-net patt until the beg of the rnd is either on the left or the right side directly above the rounded ends. Then for the upper edge and the handle work 5 dc spiral rnds in the given col. In the first rnd work 3 dc around each scallop (= 108 sts).
Cont work as follows: dc13, ch 80, sk 28 sts of prev rnd, dc 26 (1 dc into each st of the previous rnd), ch 80, sk 28 sts of prev rnd, dc 13. Work 5 dc spiral rnds over all 212 sts and end work with ss. Cut yarn and pull through last st. Weave in ends.
