Usage:
Scarf + Heafband: approx. 400 g Rocky in col. 04 (lilac-rose-dusty grey melange)
Materials: (adjust needle size to achieve given tension)
Scarf: 1 pair of circular needles in size 6,0 mm - 7,0 mm
Headband: 1 pair of circular needles in size 5,0 mm - 6,0 mm and large cable needle.
Stitch Pattern:
Garter stitch with 2 selvedge sts: (amount of sts multiple of 1 plus 4)
2 selvedge sts: k 2 at beg of row and sl 2 sts p-wise wyif at end of each row.
RS and WS rows: 2 selvedge sts, k all sts to end then 2 selvedge sts.
Tension: (adjust needle size to achieve given tension)
Scarf: 13 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm meas. over garter stitch using size 6 mm needles.
Headband: 15 sts and 32 rows to 10 cm meas. over garter stitch using size 5 mm needles.
Instructions:
Scarf:
Cast on 39 sts incl. 4 selvedge sts and beg. with a WS row. Work straight in garter st until scarf meas. total length of 200cm ending with a WS row.
Next row: cast off all sts k-wise. Weave in all ends.
Headband:
Cast on 16 sts incl. 4 selvedge sts and beg with a WS row work straight in garter st until piece meas. approx. 24-25 cm.
Next row: place 8 sts on a cable needle and hold to front, k8, then k 6 sl 2 sts p-wise wyif from cable needle. Cont. in garter st with selvedge sts as given until piece meas. total of 48-50 cm ending with a WS row. Next row: cast off all sts k-wise. Sew cast on to cast off edge as flat as possible using back stitch, or mattress stitch as preferred. Weave in ends.
